Thank you for considering booking The Dog House for your next trip.  The standard process for booking is listed below, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Step 1 - Contact me

Contact me by phone or email to check availability for your selected dates and arrange a home visit with your dog.  Prior to the home visit read the Terms & Conditions on the website, download and complete the client agreement form with as much information as possible.

Step 2 - Home visit

Attend home visit meeting with your dog.  During the home visit I will show you where your dog will be staying and fully run through my daily routine with your dog.  We can also discuss any specific requirements your dog has and you can ask me any questions you have.  Please bring the completed client agreement from to ensure I have all your dog's needs detailed and recorded.

Step 3 - Doggy day care

To allow me and your dog to get to know each other, and ensure that you will be happy leaving your dog in my care, I first take the dog for doggy day care from 11am - 5pm. During this time your dog will receive a number of walks and start to get to know me.  The cost for this is £30 (please note that I will not feed your dog on this day other than some treats).

Step 4 - Sleepover

The final stage in preparation for a full stay is to have your dog sleepover at my house.  The dog will have met me twice by now so should be comfortable staying but this final stage ensures that by the time you come to leave your dog with me for a length of time it is already familiar with me and my house and should make it's stay with me far less stressful for both you and the dog.  The cost for this is £35, please bring your dog's preferred food, bowl, bed and treats.

Step 5 - Doggiy holiday

Confirm dates and pick-up/drop-off times with me.  It is generally best to drop the dog off in the morning and collect either morning or evening as we are out and about most of the day on walks.  Bring enough food and treats to last the duration and please also bring your dog's bowl, bed and any blankets/toys it likes to have around.  I will send you photos and videos via What's App so you can see what we have been doing and to help you enjoy your holiday knowing your dog is happy and having fun.
