"We used Claire's services for Dougal, our Cocker Spaniel, when we went on our summer holiday. Dougal was well looked after and made to feel part of the family. He also had the company of Claire's dog Lexi. Dougal was taken for regular long walks, to various locations which ensured he had plenty of exercise. We were given regular updates through What's App, which meant we could enjoy our holiday knowing he was being well looked after at home. Dougal enjoys playing in the mud but he was always well cleaned and groomed after his trips out. We would recommend Claire's services."

"Dexy our 2 year old Cockapoo, spent her first time away from home at Claire's five star dog boarding. She checked in on Saturday morning and was welcomed by Claire. Dexy was encouraged to look around her new residence, coming back with a ball from a selection that Claire had left out for her. A slightly anxious owner then departed hoping Dexy would settle in and not cause any problems. No need to worry - over the weekend I was sent photos of Dexy thoroughly enjoying herself out on woodland walks with Claire's own dog and of her relaxed and happy in her holiday home. Dexy is looking forward to her next stay!"

"Our little Chihuahua Charlie requires more attention (and cuddles) than most dogs. Claire and Lexi provide the perfect home away from home for him with lots of love and exercise. He’s never been so happy while we were away from him. Claire kept us up to date with lots of pictures and videos, and even taught him a couple of things we’ve never been successful at doing! Charlie can’t wait for his next visit and it’s such a relief not having to worry about him while we’re gone, we know he’s in the best hands. "We have never needed to use kennels for Yoda, our 10 year old Havanese. Family have always managed to help when we needed and that suited as we wouldn’t have been happy leaving him with a stranger or in kennels. So it was really difficult when, due to work commitments, we had to find someone to look after him overnight.

We were given Claire’s details from another dog boarding company, when we called she suggested meeting up for a walk with her and her dog Lexi and gave us the link to her website so we could look into her services further. The walk was great, Yoga didn’t bother much with Lexi and Claire’s friendly personality really put me at ease with the idea of leaving Yoda with a stranger.
Yoda has stayed with Claire a few times now and we know he enjoys his time there as he waits barking at the front door to get in when we arrive and wags his tail happily when he gets through the front door! Claire is a lovely lady who you can tell has a genuine love for dogs. I’m happy leaving Yoda with her and would not hesitate to recommend her to others – although maybe I would as her diary is getting quite busy!"

"We have used Claire's dog boarding services on two occasions now and on both times we feel our two year old Cavapoo Archie has been well looked after and very happy. Before Archie's first visit Claire invited us into her home so that we could see where Archie would be looked after and where he would be sleeping. He met and had a play day with Claire's lovely dog Lexi. It was evident from the start that Claire is a natural doggie lover and all doggies that stay are treated like a member of the family. Claire sent us regular whatsapp updates and we were delighted to see Archie running alongside Lexi and having a fantastic time. When we returned from our break Archie greeted us with a wagging tail and smelling gorgeous. It seemed like he had a ball! We would have no hesitation in recommending Claire's services to any dog owner who is worried about leaving their family pet for any length of time."

Fun, varied walks daily...they even get warm towels for the post walk wash and of course lots of love and cuddles. "Archie has had quite a few stays with Claire at The Dog House. These have varied from daycare sessions to overnight stays and extended holidays. During all his visits Archie has had a wonderful time. Each time he gets dropped off he can't wait to get in! "Claire has looked after our dog for thepast couple of years. He absolutely loves going to stay at her house and Claire and Mark treat him very much as part of their family. We travel regularly, often for long periods of time, and never have to worry about how he's getting on as he's totally spoiled during his stay in their home. During a recent vacation our dog became critically ill late in the evening and Claire spent most of the night at the vet with him and thn took him to see various specialists, nursing him through an incredibly difficult time. I can't think of anyone else who would have done that when it wasn't their dog. I'd never put our dog to stay with anyone else and can't begin to thank Claire and Mark for everything they've done. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking to have their dog looked after like it was part of Claire's family."

"Maddie, the Cavapoo, was less than a year old when she stayed at Claire's for a week. The first time staying away from home we were slightly worried. After some doggy day cares and an over night stay in the build up to our holiday, we were more at ease that she knew Claire and the environment she was staying in. We think Maddie has some separation anxiety and is very much a people person so I'm very sorry that poor Claire had a shadow for the week but she did everything to make her feel settled and comfortable. We were kept up to date with photos and videos and she looked like she was having a great time on her daily adventures. I was worried she wouldn't want to come home! Every time Maddie was visiting she made sure she found the muddiest puddle but both times she came back clean and smelling lovely. I would definitely recommend Claire."

"Claire helped us by taking care of our wee Corgi, Monty for ten days during our trip to Stockholm. She took her time to learn all the details about Monty, what he likes and does not like including his usual routine which made us feel very comfortable and able to enjoy our holiday guilt free! Claire send us lots of Monty's fun photos and video clips almost everyday. He'd been walked at various places and seemed to enjoy his time very much. Monty loves mud and Claire let him be himself and always does the hard work to clean him daily. He was super clean and smelled nice when we picked him up. Claire and her son Mark offer a five star service at The Dog House. They treat your dog like it's their own in their lovely home and the dogs are taken for fantastic long and varied walks. Communication is great with lots of pictures and videos letting you know that your dog is in very safe hands. Would high reccommend.
